Experiencing Both Perspectives of EMDR
As we have continued to closely monitor, alongside you, the evolving situation with COVID-19, we continue to focus on our top priority: the health and safety of our clients. We are thankful for the opportunities that telehealth/teletherapy have offered, enabling us to stay connected with you to continue your treatment.

Beginning June 1, 2020, CCPC-Ohio will open itís doors to resume services in the office for those clients who would like to return. Please note, not all therapists will begin on June 1, so please discuss specific return dates with your therapist. The ability to continue telehealth/teletherapy services is still an option, nonetheless, please discuss your options with your therapist to determine what is best for you.

CCPC-Ohio will have the following processes and protocols in place for in-person therapy services:

1. It is recommended that all clients, family members, CCPC-Ohio therapists and staff wear masks in the office, to the greatest extent possible.

2. CCPC-Ohio staff will take their temperatures daily and will follow a sick leave policy of remaining home when unwell. We will require clients to stay home or cancel appointments if they were unwell. Late cancellations due to being unwell will not be charged, but also need to be discussed with CCPC-Ohio staff.

Following the guidelines set out by the State of Ohio and the CDC, are best practices for us all.

3. CCPC-Ohio staff and clients will ensure good hygiene at all times with thorough and frequent hand washing.

4. CCPC-Ohio will continue with reinforced procedures on office cleanliness and sanitation, with additional emphasis on high traffic areas and restrooms.

5. The CCPC-Ohio waiting room and front desk will remain closed for face-to-face transactions, however will continue to monitor the phones and carry out administrative duties in the office. All payment transactions will continue through electronic credit card processing, via credit cards on file, just as they have been while doing teletherapy.

6. Clients should remain in their cars upon arrival for their therapy session, and your therapist will step out of the building to greet you and will escort you out of the building when your session is complete. Any family members accompanying a client will need to remain in their car, unless they are joining the client in a session, please coordinate this with your, or your family memberís, therapist.

Your safety and wellbeing remain our foremost priority, and we will continue to share updates with you as quickly and transparently as possible. Thank you for your continued trust and support of CCPC-Ohio.
